The Undavalli Caves are a complex of rock-cut caves located in Undavalli, Andhra Pradesh, India. These caves, carved out of sandstone, date back to the 4th-5th century CE and are renowned for their intricate architecture and sculptures. The main attraction is a massive monolithic Buddha statue and the grand vihara (monastic complex) which is a prominent example of ancient Indian rock-cut architecture.
